Partnership brings enhanced email archiving capabilities to Alfresco

A strategic partnership announced today will significantly enhance the email archiving and compliance capabilities of the popular Alfresco ECM. CIGNEX, a global open source services company, is teaming up with Opsera, the developers of OpsMailmanager, to meet growing demand for enterprise-class email storage and management in Alfresco.
By partnering with Opsera, CIGNEX is further extending its reach to enterprises looking to implement a scalable, fully-featured ECM, which is simple to use, deploy, maintain and support. Opsera provides deep expertise in open source software development for ECM and system monitoring and management.
OpsMailmanager enables enterprises to store and search for email messages and their attachments in an Alfresco repository. Leveraging open standards-based technologies, OpsMailmanager provides easy integration with all leading email clients including MS Outlook, Lotus Notes and Novell Groupwise.
